In my 11/3/14 blog entitled "Is It Selfishness or Is It Self-Care?" I highlight the need to take care of our mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical health in order to be fully present and available for those around us. Self-care is something that I discuss with each and every client I meet with in my office. And yet self-care is something even I, who sees the value and necessity of it, struggle to achieve.
Let us, together, consider how we might include some self-care into our week, whether it may be: quiet time, exercise, conversation with a friend or loved one, soft music and a bubble bath, a massage, or a walk with your dog. Let us remember to add more "life" to our lives.
